The B.O.R.E.D. Tour
The World's Premiere Comedy Music Festival
The B.O.R.E.D. Tour was started in May of 1999 as the brainchild of Grant Baciocco. Grant, who is a member of the comedy music band Throwing Toasters. He wanted to find a way to promote the world of Comedy Music in this day and age where the "novelty song or act" is considered a "bad thing". He also set out to prove that there is a lot of good, undiscovered comedy music in the world.
Taking his cue from The H.O.R.D.E Tour, Lilith Fair and other summer music concerts, Grant created the first B.O.R.E.D. Tour show. His mission was to showcase up & coming and unknown comedy music talent which has a hard time finding a home in today's music and stand up comedy scenes. The show sold out the venue it was held in Studio City, CA.
Every summer since 1999, there has been another B.O.R.E.D. Tour Show. Each show presenting the BEST in comedy music and all playing to sell out crowds, proving that there is an audience for comedy music and the 'novelty song' in the new millennium and beyond!
In 2005, The B.O.R.E.D. Tour also became the place for the yearly inductions into the Comedy Music Hall Of Fame.
